A native of Canada, Alex Auld was originally drafted to the NHL by the Florida Panthers in the 2nd round of the 1999 entry draft. He has appeared in 81 NHL games during his career, booking 1 career shutouts and allowing 213 goals. The 26 year old goaltender has not yet played for the Boston Bruins this season.
